Film ini, tak hanya menceritakan kisah perburuan partikel Higgs Boson yang menggemparkan dan awal baru sebuah sejarah pemahaman sains, tetapi juga kisah-kisah para jenius yang seperti manusia lainnya, bisa bersedih, kecewa dan putus asa juga dalam upaya kerasnya untuk menguak rahasia alam terdalam.

@wing yeah i just had quick look at american sniper's page on wikipedia and read some of the review and like i said i feel betrayed! the filmmaker used different approach towards his story, they want to present us Mister Kyle as a patriotic war hero, in fact , like you said, hes just cold blooded man who loves to kill. Man!


btw baru nonton 30 menit cranes are flying, belum terbiasa nntn film black n white with ancient dub technology (baca : jadul). Jadi ya ane berekspetasi tinggi dgn narasi cerita film ini.

Still Alice

I have this annual tradition of following an actress who has big contender of winning oscar's best actress category even the film where she performed in is not nominated for big picture category (i.e., Cate Blanchett in Blue Jasmine, Meryl Streep in Iron Lady and Charlize Theron in Monster).I dont know how to explain it but there's something captivating about female acting performance, their deliverance is more heartfelt and genuine compared to their male counterpart.

This year, my choice falls to Julianne Moore and her work in Still Alice. The film itself build on a woman named Alice Howland who suffering early-onset Alzheimer's disease and her struggles to overcome the disease, yet her effort remains futile.

Back in the day, i recall there's a korean drama film named "A Moment to Remember" who has similiar themed as Still Alice, a story about a woman dealing early-onset Alzheimer's disease, the difference between these films is Still Alice providing us the subtlety of emotions from every cast and i find it very understated and bearable.

All in all, the main force of Still Alice is not on it's plot nor on it's technical elements, it's all about a strong figure of a woman, the one who capable of inspire us with her story.

abis itu nonton ini film , lumayan boring dan ngagetin doang pas diawal awal, puncaknya pas 20menit terakhir pas hantunya muncul .
btw wujud hantunya kaya yg di film MAMA

spartacus itu serial tv gan bkn film, mnrt ane sih spartacus itu cheaper version of 300, ada unsur vulgar, sadistic dan slavery.

krn ane br nntn season 1, prequel mini series dan bbrp season 2, jadi belum bisa menyimpulkan bagus atau ga ceritanya. Yah walaupun begitu so far so good lah, pretty sub par tbh hehe

Better Call Saul (Episode 1-2)

I laughed so hard. The prequel of sorts to Breaking Bad, showing how Saul Goodman, the shady and flamboyant lawyer, got to be what he is. A good first episode overall, with a terrific kicker in the final moment. It is an ESSENTIAL viewing, at least until further notice.

God Help The Girl (2014)

Film musikal ini dibintangi oleh
Emily Browning sebagai Eve
Olly Alexander sebagai James
Hannah Murray sebagai Cassey

Menceritakan tentang Eve yang mengalami anorexia dan dirawat disebuah institusi, kemudian bertemu dengan James dan Casey, musisi di Skotlandia. Ketiganya pun lalu membentuk band.

Well, sejauh ini, film ini adalah film terbaik yg pernah gw tonton di tahun 2015. Nilai plusnya:
- Lot of pretty people
- Great outfit dan kostum
- Lagu2nya keren dan gw banget
- Bikin hati jadi anget
- Olly Alexander, hmmm... tipikal gw banget...hehe
- Sinematografi bangus
- Landscape Skotlandia keren banget di film ini

So, gw rate film ini 9/10
