sharing about "active learning"??

hi there, could you share me about "active learning" or "students centered""?"??


could you share me, how do you make your students be in "active learning"?? how do you make your student actively learn and use english?? improving their own fluency?

actually, i usualy teach as "teacher centered" method, when i try to do different method ("students centered") i find it not easy to build "student centered learning proces".

    I teach english once as my part time job and I HATE IT X( .The only person who was learning from that course was ME! And the only thing I've learned is that I am not good at teaching, phew!

    sorry, but i dissagree if someone says "i am not good in teaching"

    #basicly we have talent on teaching, and yes we are good, we just need to improve and more experiences. my lecture said "each human meanth to be a teacher"

    we have that tallent already, yet need to learn more how to do it correctly. thats why i mafe this, hoping for another person share their succes method on delivering ESL for students

  • give your student tasks to learn about what will be discussed on the next chapter..not what you have discussed that day..

    and the next day you can come to the class and say: Is there any question? no? okay, class dismissed..see you tomorrow..dont forget to read the next chapter..bye..

  • active leraning itu terjadi ketika apa yang di ajarkan oleh guru ada timbal baliknya.. Misalnya guru mengajarkan teks deskripsi.. Guru memberikan gambar candi .. Nah guru ngasih penjelasan dikit tentang candi abis itu guru nyuruh salah satu siswa buat mention part dari candi atau location atau history.. Pokoknya gemana pinternya muridnya. Terus satu lagi jangan pernah anggep murid kita itu bodoh.. Mereka itu cuma malas. Coba deh di pancing pake siapa yang mau maju di kasih nilai bagus pasti mereka akan aktif
  • Menurut gue sih murid itu mau di apain aja tinggal gemana gurunya yang aktif.. Mau pake metode apa aja atau kurikulum apa aja asal guru siap dengan Bahan ajar keknya gak Ngaruh.

    Teaching is guiding and helping not giving task..
  • Guided Teaching (Pembelajaran
    Terbimbing)
    Metode ini merupakan aktifitas untuk
    mengetahui tingkat pemahaman siswa atau
    untuk memperoleh hipotesa. Metode ini
    meminta kepada siswa untuk
    membandingkan antara jawaban mereka
    dengan materi yang telah disampaikan oleh
    guru.
    Adapun langkah-langkah yang ditempuh
    sebagai berikut:
    1) Guru menyampaikan beberapa
    pertanyaan kepada siswa untuk
    mengetahui pikiran dan kemampuan yang
    mereka miliki.
    2) Guru memberi kesempatan beberapa
    menit kepada siswa untuk menjawab
    pertanyaan dengan meminta mereka untuk
    bekerja berdua atau dalam kelompok kecil.
    3) Guru meminta siswa menyampaikan hasil
    jawaban mereka, kemudian guru mencatat
    jawaban-jawaban mereka.
    4) Guru menyampaikan poin-poin utama
    dari materi, kemudian meminta siswa
    untuk membandingkan jawaban mereka
    dengan poin-poin yang telah disampaikan.
    Setelah itu, guru mencatat poin-poin yang
    dapat memperluas bahasan materi
